Here's how it works:

- Take a walk in your neighborhood, park, or favorite trail.
- Bring your grabber stick and your attention—but do not bring a bag.
- Look for the universal sign to participate: a discarded plastic shopping bag.
- If you find it, that’s your invitation from the universe to participate in environmental stewardship.
- Use that bag to collect litter for the rest of your walk.
- Track your participation with the downloadable tally graphic below.
- Post your video. Tag @BeAParticipant and use #UniversalSignChallenge.
